Making the most of your Pupil Premium

Brief Overview:

Sidney Stringer reached the national finals of the Pupil premium awards in 2015. As a regional finalist the school was one of the TOP 16 schools to win an award.

Our Pupil premium students make outstanding progress and are supported by a strong enrichment and support programme.

These two days will provide information on:

  • Leadership of PPG
  • Holding people to account
  • Use of data to raise standards
  • Providing quality first teaching for PPG
  • Co-ordinating the support for students
  • Ensuring that LSA’s have the maximum impact
  • Attendance and persistent absence systems
  • Measuring the impact of PPG spending
  • Raising levels of literacy
  • Interventions in English and Maths –how to make outstanding progress
  • Personalising the curriculum for PPG students
