SLE for School Business Management

Stanton Bridge

I am a strategic business manager at a partnership of schools in the Midlands,

providing operational support and leadership advice to senior leadership teams, and I am a writer and published author in school financial management. Prior to this I worked in two secondary schools as a business manager, for Birmingham City Council as a finance officer, and I have experience working in five different local authorities.

I qualified at the University of Central England Business School with a BA (Hons) in Business in 1998 before completing the CSBM and DSBM programmes in 2006.
I am an international speaker on education financial management and I have
developed, and currently deliver, training for local leaders of education and national leaders of education through the National College programmes.  I have recently worked with the Department for Education on the development of the SFVS
framework.

I currently act as an advisor to the Efficiency and Value for Money unit at the DfE, advising on government policy specialising in School Financial Management, School Business Management and Leadership.
